Who we are

This site — visit.polynesiangirlwine.com — is operated by Island Girl Wines, LLC dba Polynesian Girl Winery, located at 6020 Grizzly Flat Rd, Somerset CA 95684. Contact: Tatiana@polynesiangirlwine.com.

What we collect, and why

When you visit this site, we collect:

• Pages you visit (e.g. which wines you looked at, which city pages) via Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. This helps us understand which pages actually bring people to the tasting room so we can invest in what works.
• Your IP address and user agent, which your browser sends automatically to any site. We don’t store this separately; it's used for standard web-server logging and for ad attribution.
• An anonymous tracking cookiefrom Meta Pixel so Facebook can show you relevant wine ads from us (and suppress them if you’ve already visited our site).

We do not collect your name, email, or payment information on this site. Online wine purchases happen on our main store at https://www.polynesiangirlwine.com, which has its own privacy policy.

Who we share data with

• Google (via Google Analytics 4) for traffic reporting.
• Meta / Facebook (via the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API) for ad attribution and targeting.
• Vercel, our hosting provider, for standard server operations.

We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone.

Opting out of tracking

• Use your browser’s privacy settings (Safari Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, etc.) — these block the Meta Pixel and similar tools.
• On iPhone, iOS App Tracking Transparency applies to the Facebook and Instagram apps; your setting there controls what Meta can associate from our site.
• Install a content blocker (uBlock Origin, Brave’s Shield, etc.) to block tracking pixels site-wide.
• Use Google’s Analytics Opt-out browser add-on to opt out of GA4 specifically.

Your rights

If you’re in California, CCPA gives you the right to know what data we hold on you (almost none — we don’t store personal data on this site), to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale (we don’t sell any). Email Tatiana@polynesiangirlwine.com to exercise these rights.

Age requirement

This site is intended for adults of legal drinking age. You must be 21 or older to purchase.
